Hi everyone! Its Ambi, back for another week of the How To Series. This time I’m going to be talking about loving yourself. Not your family, friends, or even boyfriends/girlfriends, but instead putting yourself first for once.
I am one of those people who always put others first- I always try and help people and give advice. But sometimes I forget about ME, and I’m sure many others do too. Although it might not seem a priority, but it is really important to take a day off and think about yourself. If you do this every once in a while or if not more often than that, you will become less negative towards yourself. Others will see this improvement in you as well.
So take a break this weekend and pamper yourself. I know how I’d do that- I’d take a long relaxing bath with some lush products and bubbles. Do what you love doing- find the you who isn’t altered by what you think you should do. Care less about what others think and just go for it. Like for me, I really like reading. I haven’t read as much these past few years because sometimes I get scared that people will judge me, but forget about that! Just do what you want to do.
You will feel better as a whole if you take spoke time out of your day to think about yourself- less stressed, less pessimistic and more happier! I think everyone needs a little reminder once in a while to do this, which is why I chose this weeks post to be based on it. Especially with Valentine’s Day coming up, if you feel a little lonely maybe its best to just be with your friends and family, and most importantly, yourself.
Because in the end its your body and your decisions, and no one should affect that.
