Horror Films!

Well, I don’t know what you guys are going to be doing for Halloween, but I know I am going to be watching American Horror Story Season 4 (Freak Show) and Season 5 (Hotel)!

However, if you don’t have plans, unlike my very productive ones, I suggest you flick through my list of horror films, that you could potentially watch! 🙂

ilovehorrorfilmsIf you haven’t heard already, I LOVE HORROR FILMS!!!! I can watch them at night, in pitch black, I can watch them on Christmas (It happened once…not intentionally). I can basically watch them whenever because they don’t scare me anymore. It’s probably just created me into a fearless sociopath. XD I’m kidding! Just in case you actually thought that…

Horror Movies I have Watched:

  • Scream (all of them) (more of a comedy)
  • The Conjuring
  • Annabelle
  • Amityville Horror
  • Case 39
  • Mama
  • Insidious
  • Insidious 2
  • Sinister
  • Jeepers Creepers
  • Wrong Turn (all of them)
  • Sixth Sense
  • The Purge
  • Scary Movie (most of them) (
  • The Ring
  • Paranormal Activity (most of them)
  • Saw
  • Carrie (2013)
  • Final Destination (all of them)
  • Would You Rather
  • Zombieland (more of a comedy)
  • World War Z (More Science Fiction than horror)
  • Drag Me To Hell

There are probably loads I missed out but whose cares?!

To narrow it down, definitely watch Insidious 1 and 2, Sixth Sense, The Conjuring, Mama (It’s not scary at all), Case 39 and Drag Me To Hell!

A horror film I suggest you stay clear of is the Human Centipede! It’s not scary, it’s just traumatizing! I haven’t watched it, myself, but I know loads of people, who have. All of which regret watching it. The thing is with the human centipede is that even though it’s “just a movie”, someone came up with that idea. I question why Tom Six wanted to make that movie! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, google it. But I am warning you!

Comment if you have watched any of those movies!! Or your Halloween plans!

I don’t watch too many movies. But somehow the two television shows I have followed are The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.

These are most effective because they focus on characters, and their drama in a survival situation. At their core they are not really about Zombies. Zombies are part of the environment, like the ocean in a submarine movie. They are the ground rules of the drama, but we watch because of how the characters react and cope with the crisis.
